ON THE FUNNY SIDE
On The Funny Side is BACK! OTFS is the UnderHand stand up night which ran fortnightly for three seasons set in the gloriously intimate and relaxed surroundings of Bar 242. As the the summer really begins to hot up, we're taking OTFS to the Streatham Festival. It's a return visit for us, and frankly we can't wait. We've got an awesome line up in store for you, and it's a cracking venue. What more could you ask?

MC Matt Holt
Resident MC Matt has been running this show since its inception way back in
December 2002. He is a rare MC who cares more about audience and atmosphere
than simply churning through set material. Genial, fearless and lightning
quick: the perfect host. 'The cream of chortle-worthy talent, very funny,
a top laugh' Loaded

Rob Deering
Breakout star of Channel 5's "99 Things To Do Before You're Thirty", this genial silly-man bypasses angst and introspection and cuts straight to the laugh. One of the few guitar-wielding comedians whose music is as funny as his gags, Deering is a wonderfully warm entertainer you just can’t help liking. Joyous. "Sterling stand-up from one of the circuit's rising stars. A safe place to bet your comedy dollar" The Sunday Times

Tom Price
Tom is a phenomenally talented comic and has achieved tremendous acclaim, including a coveted Scotsman Fringe First Award, for his stunning depiction of John Cleese in the Graham Chapman biopic "A Very Naughty Boy." His charming and inventive banter has also taken him to the finals of almost every comedy competition in the land. "Crowd-pleasing but with enough twists to satisfy the more discerning comedy connoisseur" Chortle

Matt Kirshen

The sleaziest agent in show business, Sven is the grubby creation of versatile character performer, Gareth Tunley. Half of infamous double act Legendary Polowski, and star of "Ealing Live!", Gareth is simply one of the best character comedians around. "Super-efficient, adrenaline-filled, the pace is dizzying and the humour is deliciously off-the-wall" The Stage
