Matt and Lamont live together in their little Clapham flat. They don't ever leave it. They're trying to write comedy material based on their life, but they haven't performed in three years and Lamont is beginning to lose faith. Matt keeps pointing out that they can't hope to succeed when the entire comedy industry's run by Freemasons. And how can they concentrate with that mad old tramp next-door screaming about freaking albinos ...?

NUDGE is a startling uplifting endeavour, where the old meets the new in the now.

'Like watching Vic and Bob stuck in the Big Brother House ... a deliciously surreal romp delivered with contagious energy and charisma ... laugh-out-loud funny and always unpredictable, definitely one to watch at this year's Edinburgh Festival'
- Paramount Comedy 2004

'Triumphant! Like putting a keg of dynamite under the Houses of Parliament'
- Fringe Report 2004

'Matt & Lamont are a maniacally funny double act and this surreal sit-com is full of energy. Throw in Charlie Chuck and the mix is complete for an hour of gags, slapstick and madness. This is definitely the show for you. Try it - like me, you could find it totally enthralling.'
- One4Review.com - 09.08.04

'Extremely fast paced and very clever.'
- Top Five Shows, Scotsman - 14.08.04

'Matt and Lamont are frequently compared to Vic and Bob, and with good reason. Both double acts deliver a sense of anarchy using slapstick, wit and fast, funny one-liners. It's therefore only right that Charlie Chuck should work with these up and coming young stars. There are terrific set pieces and this is a wonderfully rich energetic performance.'

MATT and LAMONT are a maniacally affectionate double-act partnership, whose wit, warmth, and facial hair have won over audiences at the Pleasance Theatre London, the Cockpit Theatre, and the Canal Café Theatre. Both Edinburgh festival veterans (Lamont still gets flashbacks), the two of them will be going up there this August to positively molest the Fringe. Pop in and say hi any time - the kettle's always full and there's a cake in a box.

CHARLIE CHUCK's act and catchphrases are legendary, after stints on Vic and Bob's "The Smell of Reeves & Mortimer" as Uncle Peter, and the James Whale radio and TV shows. A manic and sometimes bewildering stage presence makes him one of the most remarkable performers working the circuit, with an array of one-liners, catchphrases, and mannerisms that defy belief.
'Unpredictable, wilful, painfully funny and, like most geniuses, probably dangerous. See him!' Sunday Times
