Streatham Festival 2005
UnderHand are chuffed to bits to be invited back for our third
consecutive year down at the Streatham Festival (July 2nd - 16th)
and as ever we'll be armed with a brace of choice pickings from
the best of the UK comedy circuit. With UnderHand regular MC
extraordinare Matt Holt in command it looks set to be a right little
corker.
Matt Holt This MC has run gigs all over the country in the last couple of years
including a residency in the West End and a late night stand up show
for 25 nights in Edinburgh. A massively popular MC, Matt seems to care
a lot more about audience and atmosphere than simply churning through
set material. Genial, fearless and lightning quick: the perfect host.
'The cream of chortle-worthy talent, very funny, a top laugh' Loaded

Kevin Day
Local Streatham lad made good - Kevin is now something of a household name popping up all over TV and Radio, and is one of the lead
writers on both They Think It's All Over and Never Mind the Buzzcocks. However it was as a stand up he made his name,
playing most of the top venues worldwide and gaining an unparalleled reputation as a devastatingly effective funny man. It's an
absolute pleasure to welcome him back, and on his home turf to boot. Sit back and relax: this guy knows what he’s doing.

Matt Kirshen
Winner of the 2003 Hackney Empire New Act Competition and the Comedy Store King of Kings, Matt has stormed onto the comedy scene with
an intelligent and skilful talent that belies his youthful looks. Already he has won two major new act competitions and has been
booked for 20 minute spots at the Comedy Store, which takes most comedians years to achieve. A definite star of the future: catch him
here so you can say you saw him first. "Winning material ... Kirshen certainly shone through" Evening Standard |

Tom Price
Tom is a phenomenally talented comic who has achieved tremendous acclaim for his appearances in Whatever C4, Absolute Power
BBC1, and two series of Rigor Mortis for Radio 4. His charming and inventive banter has also taken him to the finals of
almost every comedy competition in the land. "Crowd-pleasing but with enough twists to satisfy the more discerning comedy
connoisseur" Chortle. "Hilarious!" The Mirror, Pick of the week. |
